Support for Newport Beach PD Detective Jon Jarema and His Family
The Costa Mesa PA is saddened to hear of the loss of our brother in blue, Detective Jon Jarema of the Newport Beach Police Department. Detective Jarema served at the Newport Beach Police Department for 12 years. During that time he served as a patrol officer, SWAT team member, and most recently as a Detective. In May of 2018, Jon was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor and on May 9th, 2020 he passed away surrounded by his family, friends and partners. Jon leaves behind his beautiful wife,...

39th Annual National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service in Washington, D.C. Canceled Due to COVID-19
