The CMPA is Dedicated To The Community We Serve

The Costa Mesa Police Association is the governing body of the police officers and sergeants in the Costa Mesa Police Department. The CMPA, in conjunction with the administration of the Costa Mesa Police Department, ensures each member maintains the highest level of training, ethics and professionalism while serving as a member of the department. The association is governed by a board of directors. Members are elected to the positions of President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and five Board Member positions.

The city of Costa Mesa is just minutes away from beautiful beaches, John Wayne Airport, and all of Southern California's major freeways. With a population of over 109,000, the city is serviced and protected by approximately 130 dedicated and highly trained police officers.
